Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Unicornotravelz.com, we aim to provide transparency and clarity regarding cancellations, refunds, and itinerary changes. Please review the following policy carefully before making a booking.

1. General Refund Policy

  • Most airline tickets and associated services are non-refundable, unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of booking.
  • Refunds are subject to airline rules, fare type, and supplier policies.
  • Unicornotravelz does not guarantee refunds unless approved by the airline or service provider.

2. Refund Eligibility

A refund request will only be considered if:

  • The traveler has requested cancellation through Unicornotravelz Customer Support
  • The ticket is eligible for cancellation under the airline's fare rules
  • The traveler is not a "no-show" (failure to board without prior cancellation)

No-shows are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.

3. Refundable Fares

  • For refundable tickets, approved cancellations may be subject to a processing fee charged by Unicornotravelz
  • Refund timelines depend entirely on airline processing and approval

4. Refund Process

  • All refund requests must be made via phone through Unicornotravelz Customer Support
  • Once your request is received, you will get an acknowledgment email (this does not guarantee approval)
  • We will coordinate with the airline to determine eligibility, penalties, or waivers
  • You will be notified once the airline provides a final decision

5. Refund Timeline

Refund processing may take approximately 60 to 90 days from the date of request.

The duration depends on airline processing time and payment provider cycles.

6. Fees & Charges

  • Airlines may apply cancellation penalties as per their fare rules
  • Unicornotravelz may charge a service/processing fee for handling refunds

Processing fees are only charged if:

  • The airline approves the refund
  • The refund complies with airline policy

If the airline does not process the refund, any applicable Unicornotravelz processing fees will be refunded.

7. Travel Protection Refunds

If travel protection insurance was purchased:

  • It may be refundable within 10 days of purchase, provided:
  • -The trip has not started
  • -The airline booking has been cancelled

8. Changes & Exchanges

Most airline tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

If permitted by the airline:

  • A credit may be issued for future travel on the same airline
  • Credits are subject to expiration dates and airline restrictions

Important:

  • Price differences, airline penalties, and Unicornotravelz service fees will apply to any changes
  • Credits must be used before their expiration date, or they will be forfeited

9. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation requests must be made at least 24 hours before scheduled departure (if allowed by airline rules)
  • A cancellation fee of $50 per person per ticket may apply
  • Cancellation approval is subject to airline policies — it is not guaranteed

10. Rebooking Policy

For any new booking using credits:

  • You must pay: Fare difference (if applicable) + Airline penalties + Unicornotravelz service fees
  • All changes are governed strictly by airline policies
